Speech Therapy Services
The Speech therapist Team of Heep Hong Society provides assessment, therapy and training to help children with speech, language and other communication difficulties. To accommodate individual interest and differences, different treatment strategies are employed to enhance children’s social and communication skills. Speech therapists also share their knowledge and experience with parents and professional peers through talks, workshops and publications.

LetSTalk is developed by the Speech Therapist Team of Heep Hong Society with an aim to enhance social and communication skills of children with speech and language difficulties, in particular those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). It serves as a handy Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) tool* with voice output function.

LetSTalk’s main features include:
A collection of 350 pictures of commonly used vocabulary organized under 17 categories (i.e. people, action, food, drinks, toys, body parts, feelings and emotions, animals and plants, clothing, daily supplies, transportation, activities, home, places, stationery, attributes, and social terms)
Automatic voice output function or “Speak” button: select a single picture or multiple pictures from different categories to form meaningful sentences
Easy customization to suit individual needs:
Add new pictures with voice recording function
Re-arrange the presentation order of categories and pictures
“Custom Category Settings”: place the most frequently used pictures in one page and control the number of pictures
“Real Voice Function”: create own picture cards with own voice
Language options: Traditional Chinese/Simplified Chinese (text); Cantonese/ Mandarin (voice)
